Lets face it, without the teams starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers are 0-6 against the Baltimore Ravens since the Steelers drafted big ben in 2004. The last time the Steelers played the Ravens they lost the game 13-10, this time when they face the Ravens, they will have Troy Polamalu in their defensive secondary. Is this enough to make a difference for the Steelers? Not if you remember how poorly Charlie Batch played just a week earlier. Batch has to find a way to get the football to his own receivers today.

Troy Polamalu is a difference maker there is no doubt about it. He alone can’t possibly make that much of a difference if the Steelers have the same turnover rate they had the last week. You cannot give the Baltimore Ravens free possessions and expect to win the football game. If the Steelers defense can bring a ton of pressure to the Ravens and the offense doesn’t turn the ball over then they just might have a chance to take this game. They played the Ravens close in the last game only losing by 3 points. The return of a healthy Polamalu is worth at least 3 points.

This one is going to be up to the Steelers defense to go out there and shut down the Baltimore Ravens if the Steelers are going to win today…..
