The Pittsburgh Steelers are wondering if James Harrison’s knee will let him play Sunday when the Steelers take on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos Sunday afternoon. Harrison has nursed a sore knee for the past couple weeks and he could be held out of the game. If Harrison is able to play in the Mile High city and he can get to Manning how many hits can Manning take and continue to play in the game.
We all know how much of an impact James Harrison can bring to a football game, his style of play is what defines the Steelers defense. If Harrison does play he is the kind of player that can change the outcome of a game. If he can get to Manning and lay one of his hits on the 36-year-old quarterback there is a chance Manning would have to leave the game. Remember the Steelers are going back to Denver after being eliminated from the play-offs after their over-time loss to the Broncos last season. There has to be some feeling of getting even this season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t going to take anything for granted in this game, that is for sure. The play of Harrison is always a game changer and he could have a huge game if he can get to Manning. I guess we will have to wait and see if Harrison is ready on Sunday…
