One day after the New York Jets released Tim Tebow, some are saying his days in the NFL are over. Are these people serious? Tebow led the Denver Broncos to the NFL play-offs in 2011. Not only did Tebow take the team to the play-offs, he threw a perfect pass in over time to help the Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.
To me, he looked like he knew how to throw a football. He hit his receiver in full stride to take the Broncos into the nest round of the play-offs. When the Jets released Tebow, Rex Ryan came out a praised him for being in great shape when he showed up to the Jets mini camps. Perhaps if others on the Jets team committed themselves the way Tim Tebow does, they would win more football games.
Why is the NFL so afraid of Tim Tebow? Is it because he puts the Lord Jesus Christ above all else in his life? Why are people worried about Tebow”s love of GOD? For years we have heard professional athletes praise GOD for all things good in their lives, including super bowl victories.
When Tebow came into the NFL and he praised GOD and did things as HE would want him to do, people made fun of him. The NFL should have a few more guys like Tim Tebow. These players are role models to the young. These guys are looked up to as heroes.
Tebow set a great example of what a NFL player could do to inspire others. What happens, they give him little respect and they get rid of him, even after he proved he could win in the NFL. As we wait for the first Gay player to come out in the NFL, we sadly watch as the NFL lets one of the good guys get away.
There is something terribly wrong with this picture.
