When Russell Wilson takes to the field tonight at Lambeau Field, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he will face his toughest test of the preseason. The Packers defense is going to try to shut down Wilson and his high-powered Seattle offense.

The guy couldn’t be stopped in his first two preseason games, and I don’t think the Packers realize just how good this Seahawks team is coming into the 2013 season. Wilson isn’t very high on the list as far as the passing game, he is ranked 46th so far this preseason.

The Seahawks have had a solid rushing game thus far in the preseason and when you have a guy like Christine Michael running the ball for you, there isn’t a reason to pass on everydown. Michael is ranked at number 10 in rushing this preseason.

The Seahawks might force the packers to try and stop the run. Then I can see Wilson throwing some play-action passes to mix things up a bit. If the Green Bay secondary is covering well, Russell might just take off and run the football up the field on a few plays.

The Seahawks have another guy that is carrying the ball well this preseason too. Spencer Ware is ranked at 13th in rushing. Then there is Stephen Williams, he is ranked in the 6th spot in receiving this preseason. The Packers are going to have their hands full trying to stop Seattle from getting to 3-0 on the preseason.

Frankly, I can’t see them stopping the Seahawks tonight. Tell us what you think, leave your comments below….
