It was a senseless accident that took the life of Dallas Cowboys practice squad player Jerry Brown , this is something his best friend Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent will have to live with for the rest of his life. Now he isn’t even welcomed on the Cowboys sidelines during the game. Is the N.F.L. looking for yet another tragic event? Is this the way they should handle this situation? Both men made the choice to get into a car after they had been out drinking for the night, both men knew they had way to much to drink. If Brent had to do this all over again I’m not sure the outcome would be any different. These guys were NFL football players. They think they are invincible.
They don’t know how to ask for help when they need it just recall the Jr, Seau suicide, if he knew how to seek help he may still be alive. No one knows the pain Brent has to be felling, to vanish him away form the team is not the way this should be handled. The guy had a terrible accident nonetheless it was an accident. Browns made the choice to drive in the car with Brent, if he wasn’t impaired maybe he would have been able to drive the car. Both men made poor choices that night and now only one of them is left to feel the pain. Why should the Dallas Cowboys and the N.F.L. make matters for Brent any worse?
