Tony Romo and his Dallas Cowboys will travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. The Cowboys have to be one of the best rested teams in the NFL after their win over the New York Giants. Romo faces Russell Wilson the Seahawks starting quarterback, this contest hardly looks fair on paper. The Cowboys had 450 yards of total offense against the Giants, Romo had 307 yards passing. The Seahawks didn’t fair so well in their week one match up, the team combined for 258 yards yards of total offense with Wilson throwing for only 153 yards.

The Cowboys defense gave Manning and his Giants plenty to deal with in the opening game of the 2012 NFL season. The Seahawks are going to have more than they can deal with in Sundays match up. If Seattle has any hope of stopping the Cowboys from slaughtering them, they are going to have to try and slow down Tony Romo which doesn’t seem possible from where I am sitting. The Seahawks as a team only recorded one sack in week one. If they can’t bring any pressure to Tony Romo and he has time to stand back in the pocket he will pick the Seattle secondary apart.

Braylon Edwards was the Seahawks leading receiver in week one, he only had 43 yards. If the Cowboys defense takes him out of the game with coverage, I can’t see the Seahawks doing anything that will make this a game. The Dallas Cowboys should start the Season at 2-0 after their visit to Seattle. This game will be like a well designed practice for Tony Romo, he will probably have close to 500 yards passing this week. I look for the Cowboys to take this one easily from Seattle….
