Miguel Cabrera stepped up to the plate to face Indians Closer Chris Perez in the 10th inning of a game the Tigers were trailing in by one run. The Tigers were looking to hand the Indians their 9th loss in a row and Perez was looking to end the 8 game losing streak. The Detroit Tigers would battle the Indians all game long, each time the Indians would score the Tigers were able to come back and score too. It was a game that looked like it could go either way. Then the Cleveland Indians took the lead by three runs in the tenth inning.

The Tigers looked as though they were going to lose, the Indians have one of the best closers in M.L.B. in Chris Perez. The Indians were three outs away from ending the losing streak, the Tribe has had Detroit’s number all season long. Then it happened Miguel Cabrera hit a two run blast that would hand the Indians their 9th loss in a row and set a record for the Indians franchise in losses. All at the hands of the best clutch hitter in all of baseball Miguel Cabrera. The Tigers would get the tenth inning walk off win 10-8 to take the series against Cleveland with the sweep….
