Tiger Woods made the cut this week at the Honda Classic at the PGA National course in Pal Beach Garden Florida. It wasn’t easy for Woods who found himself on the wrong side of the cut line a couple of times through his round, managed to right the ship that was sinking fast.

Woods carded a round of 1 under par to go along with his first round 70 to just make it under the wire by 2 strokes. It may not seem like a lot, bit for a guy who used to lap the field, this was a mile.

Woods who had to get back to even par to make the has only made 6 birdies in his first 2 rounds. To put this into perspective, the tournament leader made more than 6 in his first round.

Woods made 4 bogeys in his first 2 rounds and one double bogey. He has only hit the greens in regulation 58.33% in his first 2 rounds. Woods has an average of an average of 1.857 putts per green and his missing the greens has cost him this week, he is tied for 90th in G.I.R..

This is not the Woods we used to know. The best part of his game used to be his iron play. Tiger is struggling by his standards and he looks as though he should play more, not cut back.

Woods may have made the cut, but he is 10 shots off the lead.
