Under new coach Urban Meyer the Ohio State Buckeyes are playing some great football. The Purdue Boiler makers tried to kill Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller when they faced the Buckeyes, it didn’t seem to work and it looks like Miller has come back even more determined to get his Buckeyes into the end-zone more than ever now. Miller led his Buckeyes to the end-zone multiple times with his arm in this game against Illinois. He has been criticized for not being able to throw the ball very well.

Miller had to turn some heads in this O.S.U. game, he whistled five passes of 24 yards or longer — including a 51-yard touchdown toss on a wheel route to Rod Smith — and finished 12-of-20 passing for 226 yards. He also ran for 73 yards and added another did-you-see-that scoring dash. This should prove that Miller is a duel threat on the football field, not only can he run, Miller is very capable of throwing the ball very well if given the time to do so.

It is a shame the Buckeyes are under a NCAA bowl restriction. If they were able to contend this season a National Championship could be in the making in Meyer’s inaugural season as the Buckeyes head coach. The Ohio State Buckeyes are showing the nation they are a great football team, nothing would make Buckeyes fans happier than a victory over Michigan. This is the biggest game of the season for the Buckeyes and the fans live for this moment.

If Miller can play the way he played against the Illinois team, the Buckeyes should be able to roll over Michigan to give their fans the gift they wait for each season. Meyer will have his Buckeyes team ready for this game. You can bank on it…..
