There’s not many thinking NASCAR driver Danica Patrick is going to take her Go-Daddy Chevrolet across the finish line first in today’s Daytona 500. Some Vegas odds-makers give 60-1 odds of winning, while others have her as low as 30-1.

The odds of Patrick finishing the race, are high as well. She seems to find trouble, no matter where she is on the track. Bringing her car to the front of the pack, isn’t going to be easy.

She started last year from the pole position and was able to finish the race in 8th place. But starting from the 27th spot in today’s race is going to present plenty of challenge to Patrick.

She is going to have to pick and choose where to make he moves. She has to avoid trouble if she expects to even finish the race.

Patrick’s car may not have the best set up and it may not have the speed to make her way into the lead. The biggest problem her race team faces, is the skill she has to handle this car.

If she can avoid trouble, she might finish the race, but unless you have money to burn, I wouldn’t bet on her winning the race. I think betting on her not finishing the race is a safer bet.
