For the past week we have been hearing lots of talk about the Jets wanting to trade up to get into position to have a chance to draft Trent Richardson. Talk out of New York today confirms the fact it would have been far to costly to make the deal required to draft Richardson. The Jets will have to take their chances with the people they already have or get someone as a walk on. The Jets are going to have a interesting training camp as it is with the addition of Tim Tebow to the team. Many are wondering what role Tebow is going to play with the Jets this season.

The New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan certainly had his hands full at the end of last season with all the talk coming form his locker room. Many think the players had a problem with Mark Sanchez and the same players may not have the respect they once had for the Jets quarterback. Another situation that has surfaced lately was Braylon Edwards making a return to the New York Jets, little has been written lately concerning any kind of deal with Edwards. Not ruling it out the Jets could indeed re-sign Edwards and have in in camp this summer.

The Jets don’t pick until the 16th pick in the first round tomorrow night. Unless the Jets make some last minute moves they could end up with a strong Safety with the Sixteenth pick or an offensive guard.  Hey if you haven’t got your copy of Tebow and the Jets it is a must have for any Jets fans.
