The Miami Heat looked like they were in for some real trouble after the end of 3 in Boston. The Celtics were giving the Heat a battle that looked like play off basketball. The Heat Had no answers for the Celtics Jeff Green for most of the game. Somehow they found a way to silence the man who had 41 points after 3 quarters.

LeBron James and the Heat looked like they would end the streak at 22 until it happened. The Heat took the lead in the 4th quarter with 2:40 left in the game 101-100. The Celtics had this one all wrapped up until that happened.

That’s why they play 48 minutes in the NBA. Green was a non factor in the 4th quarter. James and company were able to re-claim the game and never look back. Miami did just enough to pull the streak up to 23 in a row, nothing more than that folks.

That’s all that mattered. They extended the streak and they best the Boston Celtics 105-103. James scored 37, Mario Chalmers scored 21.Wade had 16 and Bosh picked up the rear with 13 points of his own. If the Heat had to play the Celtics with a healthy Kevin Garnett, I am not sure the streak would still be alive.

Guess what, Garnett didn’t play and the Heat did extend their streak to 23. Injuries are a part of all sports and all teams have to play through them.
