Here we go again. With less than 50 days until one of the biggest tournaments on the PGA Tour, the odds makers are making Tiger Woods the favorite to win the Masters. Just one week ago Woods was sent home after failing to win one match in the Match Play Championships.  Woods won one tournament in 2013 and the world thinks he is back and he is the same Tiger that dominated the PGA Tour just a few years ago.

Obviously Tiger plays well at the Masters. But they haven’t been paying attention to Tigers short game as the Sports Baron has pointed out to me this season. Tiger has to be able to string together a few tournaments in a row before we can start handing him major Championships again. While Woods is striking the ball well, his short game isn’t nearly as sharp as it was years ago. His putting isn’t up to par if you will. Until Tiger can sharpen up his short game including his putting, he is going to have problems capturing another Major, especially at a place like Augusta National Golf Club.

So even though the odds makers are putting Tiger up front as the favorite at 5/1, I wouldn’t be so quick to hand him the Masters yet.

I say Tiger will win the Masters and at least one more Major this year. He will also have 2 or3 more wins this year. He will also become the No.1 player. This is going to be Tiger’s year for a comeback. GO,GO,GO TIGER. You are still the KING.
