Mark Sanchez proved today he can still compete in the NFL. Sanchez had a great game against a great team and almost was able to pull off the upset over the Tom Brady led New England Patriots.  The Jets lived by the Sanchez hand and they died by the Sanchez hand. Sanchez was sacked in overtime and instead of protecting the football, Sanchez fumbled the ball and New England recovered to end the game with the Patriots taking the win 29-26 over the Jets. Sanchez had what looked to be his finest game of the season, there has to be something about playing the Patriots that brings out the best of Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez completed 28 of his 41 attempts for 328 yards,he had one touchdown, 1 interception and was sacked by the high-powered New England defense 4 times.  Mark Sanchez showed he can led his Jets team to the end zone. The Jets haven’t played this well all season long.  It is a shame the pass protection broke down and Sanchez was sacked in the overtime to fumble the ball, it looked as though he was going to get the Jets down the field one more time and win this game. It was a hard-fought game and the Jets and Sanchez deserved to win.

When you play a Tom Brady led team you have to be able to move your team and put points on the board, today Mark Sanchez did that and he should stop the voices who keep calling for Tim Tebow.
