The Jacksonville Jaguars now have the longest winning streak in the AFC. Can you believe that? This team is having fun and their fun continued with a win over the Houston Texans, beating Gary Kubiak’s team 27-20 in prime time.
The Jaguars are pulling every trick play out of the hat to pull off these victories. For the 2nd week in a row we saw someone else other than the Jaguars quarterback throw a touchdown pass.
This week it was Ace Sanders who heaved the ball across the field after a he received a pass behind the line of scrimmage from quarterback Henne.
Sanders found Todman down field and the Jaguars would find the end zone in the 2nd game in a row with the trick play. The Jaguars should consider sending the Houston Texans a thank you card for their contribution to this win.
Houston was flagged 14 times in the game for 177 yards setting a record for penalties.
The Jaguars who were once considered the worst team in the NFL this season are now 4-9 and if the can win out they could end their season with a 7-9 record.
Henne had only 117 passing yards in the game but he threw 2 touchdowns. Jone-Drew had 103 yards rushing in the game and he helped the Jaguars control the pace of play and extend drives.
Can the Jaguars continue to win? Only time will tell, but they look like they’re having fun winning now.
