Tiger Woods came into the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club as the clear favorite to win. Those odds are fading away faster than Tigers home that is sinking in Jupiter Island Florida. Yes it is true Tiger came into this weeks tournament with a lot on his mind.

The problem hasn’t been his problems outside the ropes, the problem has been his putter. Woods clearly has had trouble making putts at Oak Hill this week. The greens have given the 14 time major champion fits. He missed a lot of putts in his second round he should have be able to make.

The course was giving up a lot yesterday and Woods could take advantage of the soft playing conditions. While others were out setting records with their play, Woods was  lucky to play a round at even par. Woods heads into the weekend trailing the leader by 10 strokes.

We all know Tigers record while trialing in a Major. He has never been a come from behind player to win. If Woods can’t find his putting stroke in his 3rd round, he is going to be in for a very long weekend. Tiger Woods probably won’t win a major this year.

That will leave him major-less since 2008. Yes it has been 5 long years since Woods has won a major. He still has time in his career to catch Jack, but we all know as the years go by those major wins get harder to get.
