Just minutes ago, the Green Bay Packers announced, quarterback Aaron Rodgers will start Sunday when the Packers take on the Chicago Bears. It was the Bears who broke Rodger’s collar Bone and knock him out of the line up earlier this season.
Rodgers was a full participant in practice today and he looks like he is ready to go. The 7-7 Packers need a win over the 8-7 Bears to finish the 2013 season at .500 and in a tie with Chicago.
The Packers would win the NFC North with a win over Chicago Sunday, the Packers are 2-2-1 within the division and the Bears are at 2-3 in the NFC North. This is a must win game for Green Bay.
Rodgers gives the Packers the best chance to beat the Bears and you know the Chicago defense is going to be coming after Rodgers with everything they have.
Rodgers has the ability in his legs to extend plays for the Packers and the last thing the Bears need is for Rodgers to run all over the field completing the down field passes that make it so difficult to stop the Packers.
Rodgers has been cleared to play and it is now up to the Packers offensive line to keep their quarterback healthy. If they can keep Rodgers on his feet, this is going to be one of those old-time NFC North hard-hitting football games.
