The Cincinnati Reds have the chance to close out their first round of the play-offs with just one more win over the San Francisco Giants tonight.  The Red’s look unstoppable and the pitching staff looks uninhabitable at times. If the Reds get a performance out of tonight’s starter that is anything close to the job Bronson Arroyo did in the teams 9-0 victory, it’s going to be all over for the Giants. The Reds have been one of the hottest teams in all of baseball for the entire second half of the season. They apparently have been able to carry their momentum into the play-offs without any hesitating.

Bronson Arroyo pitched one heck of a game only allowing one hit while striking out 4. The Reds offense doesn’t show any signs of slowing down either. I remember when Votto went down with injury, many wondered how well the Reds could perform without their slugger. The truth is this team is so loaded with talent they didn’t even miss a beat. The fans are hoping the Reds can take the way the team is playing right now right into the world series. It is going to be interesting to see if they blow out the Giants today and what they do in the next round of the play-offs. They just could go all the way….
