Hopefully the return of TE Rob Gronkowski, will be the boost the New England Patriots need. Tom Brady could certainly use a set of hands that knows how to run routes and make some catches. Brady has led this team for weeks with a lack of talent.

The Patriots will have another weapon in Brady’s arsenal come Sunday. The tight ends return has to lighten the load on Brady. He has done a great job taking the Patriots to 4-1 without the help of his veteran tight end.

Losing to the Bengals last week hasn’t sat well with Brady and he would have lighted to carry the winning streak further into the season. Brady could care less about his consecutive games with a touchdown pass going to the way side, however he wanted a shot at an undefeated season.

Had he had Gronkowski’s hands last Sunday both streaks would probably have survived. Brady reported Monday night that Gronk was working hard to get back to football but wasn’t sure if the team doctors or trainers would clear his tight end to play Sunday.

The news has to be a lift to the entire team, especially playing the Saints this week.
