Si Woo Kim was wise beyond his years today as the South Korean won the Players Championship by 3 strokes over Ian Poulter and Louie Oosthuizen.

He becomes the youngest winner of the Players Championship at 21 years old.

It is hard to believe that he has been a member of the PGA Tour for 4 years.

He did have one win and that was last year at Greensboro. Wow what a BIG win this was…$1,890,000 plus a 5 year PGA Tour exemption, 3 year exemption to the Masters, and plenty of cash to pay for English lessons.

It’s just so hard to believe that ANYBODY who has played the tour for 4 years hasn’t learned to speak English.

Ian Poulter & Louie Oosthuizen tied for 2nd but don’t feel too bad for them as they each won over $900,000.

I don’t know if anybody heard Brandel Chamblee’s comments after play ended.

He said that Ian Poulter did not play to win. He tried to say that Poulter played it safe down the stretch of the final 3 holes.

He said Poulter is no David Duval or Tiger Woods. He said they would have gone for the pin on 17 unlike Poulter playing it safe. Chamblee’s words not mine.

Poulter heard his comments and tweeted a response. He said sorry to disappoint. I can only dream of being as good as Brandel..it’s clearly very easy sitting on your arse..thanks for all your support!

It’s very interesting that that bunch of crap from Chamblee came out the same time that Greg Norman called most golf announcers boring.

Haha. Nick Faldo responded by saying ” I need a hug”. Sarcastic but funny.

Overall I think it was a really exciting Players selfishly because I wanted Louie Oosthuizen to win. The scuttlebutt with players and caddies is very simple…..Most do not like the course because of all the changes.

The announcers kept saying as the greens get older they will be more receptive. Over the next week or so there will be articles on this.

Until we play the course and experience how it really is we will never know. We will continue this conversation! Have a good day!
