Russell Wilson had a rough time of it against the Green Bay Packers. It wasn’t the typical Wilson performance and for Seahawks fans, at least he got it out of the way before the regular season gets started.
Wilson was under pressure and he threw 2 interceptions in the game. He was also sacked 3 times and it was clear the the Packers were focused in on stopping Wilson from having a Russell Wilson kind of performance.
All that didn’t matter, the Seahawks come away with their 3rd win of the preseason and they showed they can make the adjustments necessary to over come tough situations. Head coach Pete Carroll showed the world he can get his team past adversity to overcome tough situations.
The Seahawks defense continued to play hard throughout the game and they were able to stop the Packers from finding the end zone more than once in the game. Seattle looks like a well-rounded team coming into the 2013 season.
You could see the confidence in the face of Pete Carroll throughout the game,it was like he never had a doubt. With this kind of confidence the Seahawks should be on a roll once the regular season gets under way.
Wilson will learn by his mistakes and he won’t repeat them. He is only in his 2nd NFL season and he continues to show signs of improvement. He is going to have a huge season.
