Sabine Lisicki was excited to say the least after she defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in the semifinal round, 6-4, 2-6, 9-7, to advance to the finals. The young lady is moving on to the biggest match of her life and she savored every moment of the win.

Lisicki stuck around after the semifinal round was over to sign a bunch of autographs for the fans. She will face Marion Bartoli in the finals to decide who takes home the Rosewater Dish on Saturday. Both ladies did well to get to the finals.

It was a week of upsets at Wimbledon this year. Lisicki, who came back from an 0-3 deficit against Serena Williams in a fourth-round upset, pulled off a similar comeback Thursday to defeat No. 4 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.

It was a tough week for the big names and this year the women’s finals will see 2 unfamiliar faces taking center court. Both Lisicki and Bartoli are walking on new ground. Both ladies will be nervous seeing how this is their first grand slam final and both ladies have an equal chance to claim the big prize.

It is going to be an interesting final and no matter who wins you can bank on the fact that  Sabine Lisicki is thrilled to be there. If she wins the finals, she may never want to leave the center court. All of us at USA Sports 360 wish Sabine Lisicki the best of luck.
