After a terrible start to the 2013 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves right in the middle of the mix for the AFC North. No one knows that more than Ben Roethlisberger who hopes to lead his Steelers past the Cleveland Browns this Sunday at First Energy Stadium.
Big Ben, knows this is a game within the division and he also knows a win would put the Steelers in 2nd place alone (depending on what the Ravens do). He also knows the Browns defense is one of the toughest defenses in the NFL this season. The Steelers are going to have to protect Roethlisberger, if they want to give him a chance to do what he does best.
The Cleveland defense is lead by Ray Horton who was schooled by none other than the Steelers defensive coordinator, Dick LeBeau. The Browns will be bringing plenty of pressure to Roethlisberger, and he is going to have to rely on his O-line to keep him on his feet.
The Pittsburgh offense has really turned things around over the past few weeks. The team is looking for their 3rd win in a row and they know Cleveland’s backs are against the wall. The Browns aren’t going to let Roethlisberger and his team come into their house and walk all over them.
This is going to be a hard fought battle, with both teams wanting to come away with the win in their division. If the Steelers do win, they could salvage the season they once thought was over.
