It didn’t take long for DeSean Jackson to land on his feet. Reportedly, the wide receiver is signed with the Washington Redskins. This deal will come back to haunt second year head coach Chip Kelly.

Jackson is staying in the NFC, and him inking a deal with the Redskins is a win-win situation for Robert Griffin III, who needed the addition of a vertical threat.

Jackson is a fearless receiver who has explosive speed. He averaged over 17 yards per catch and with this kind of down field ability, Jackson will help the Redskins quarterback get back to where he was in his rookie season.

Jay Gruden knows Jackson has the game breaking ability, he needed. Jackson is the kind of receiver that can change the out come of the game with just a couple of plays.

The Redskins didn’t fall for the report about how Jackson could have been tied to gang activity on the west coast. Jackson denied the alleged allegations and the Los Angeles Police Department said Saturday that Jackson is not linked to any gang activity.

What more prof does one need? If the police don’t have any reports about Jackson’s alleged gang activity, how could issue a report trying to smear Jackson?

The Washington Redskins offense will be better this season with the addition of Jackson. RG3 now has the target that will help him move the ball down field. Washington could be a serious play-off threat this season because of adding Jackson to their offense.

DeSean Jackson is a play-maker, and Jay Gruden knows that.
