Robert Griffin III comes into the 2013 NFL season after a lot of changes during this off-season. He bought a house, He had his knee rebuilt and he got married. Some may sway Griffin III is a more settled man.

Reports have Griffin way ahead of schedule in his knee rehab. Being more settled this season in his personal life has some wondering if RGIII will be more settled in the pocket. In his rookie season RGIII left the pocket a lot. He rushed his way into the play-offs and that has contributed to his knee being injured.

This season the trick for Washington is going to be keeping RGIII in the pocket so he doesn’t get injured. RGIII style of play has to change drastically if the guy is going to settle into the pocket. RGIII is quick, he can run faster than most return men in the NFL.

Keeping him in the pocket so the linemen can protect him isn’t going to be an easy task. RGIII makes things happen with his legs. He has a good arm too and the Redskins coaching staff has to be hoping the more settled RGIII will stay out of trouble this season.

It will be interesting to see just how settled RGIII is once the season starts. Something tells me he will be the same old rushing quarterback we saw in his rookie season.
