With the 2013 season coming quickly and Peyton Manning going into the second year of his five-year deal, the Broncos have to get the guys some help on the defense. Denver made it into the play offs only to see their hopes taken away by Joe Flacco and the Baltimore ravens with the long pass. Manning did what he could to win the game and move Denver into the championship game. Manning helped putting 35 points on the bard, but it was Denver’s defense that could stop the Ravens that coast the Broncos a shot at the AFC Championship game.
The Broncos have to find some defensive help in the off-season. Elway and his staff need to find a guy to solidify the Broncos secondary. Not only do they need to focus on a corner back that can take away his side of the field, the team needs to start thinking about replacing Mike Adams too. Adams had a decent enough year, but lets face it the guy is getting old. How long do the Broncos think he can play?
The Denver Broncos defensive needs have to be address this off-season if they expect Manning to get them to the next level. They won 13 games and lost the big one because they didn’t have a great defensive secondary. They cannot afford to let that problem slow them again in 2013.
