Today the state police have returned to the home of Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez. They searched the house last night and it was reported that they left carrying a large box. The contents of the box weren’t disclosed as of yet. 2 troopers were seen knocking on the door of the sprawling house and apparently no one answered the door.

The police spent hours at the house last night just a day after the body of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd was discovered in a field just about a mile away from the Hernandez home. Reports also have Hernandez renting a car in his name that is now part of the homicide investigation. Police are trying to discovered whose finger prints are in the vehicle.

Earlier reports said, Hernandez was not believed to be a suspect in the homicide. What the police are looking for at his home is unclear at this time. For someone who isn’t considered a suspect the cops sre are spending a lot of time at his house. The state police aren’t talking at this time, they have referred questions to Bristol District Attorney Sam Sutter’s office.

Hernandez is represented by the Athletes First agency and they are refusing to release a statement as well. How Hernandez is connect to this case other than the car rental in his name hasn’t been disclosed at this time either. I’m sure soon enough the bomb might drop. Hopefully the police will clear Hernandez of any wrong doing…
