If someone would have told you before the game started that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger would be held scoreless by the Oakland Raiders for the entire fourth quarter would you have believed them? It isn’t often when you see anytime deny Roethlisberger access to putting some kind of points on the board at the end of a game. That is exactly what took place today, the Steelers who were leading the Raiders when the 4th quarter started by 10 points lost the game many thought they had in the bag.
Not only was Big Ben and his Steelers offense held scoreless in the 4th, the Pittsburgh defense let the Raiders have their way with them in the fourth. The Steelers defense was anything but Steel at he end of this game, they let the Oakland Raiders score 13 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. Not what we have come to expect from the Steelers, but hey this season is Roethlisbergers first year working with a new offensive scheme. It looks like it is going to take time to learn.
The Steelers are off to a 1-2 start. Not the best start, not what they wanted but it is still way to early to count them out.
