After beating the Redskins 45-21, Peyton Manning was asked if he was looking forward to the bye week. he said yes. He also said it couldn’t have come at a better time.

In a brief post game interview, Manning was asked about his sore ankles. He said they are sore. he also said he could be on the injury list every week throughout the season if he wanted to.

He said they would just write body. Manning is looking forward to the time off, but will he really take the time off? Manning is still in search of perfection with his Denver Broncos.

He played one heck of a game against the Washington Redskins and he said he felt pretty good while he was on the field. He completed 30 of his 44 attempts for 354 yards and 4 touchdowns bringing his season total to 29.

Manning also threw 3 interceptions in the game. He had some help from his Broncos defense who hammered the heck out of RGIII in the game.

The Broncos defense kept pressure on the Redskins quarterback throughout the game. They forced the second year quarterback to leave the game in the 4th quarter with an injury to his left knee.

Manning was able to do the things he does to get the Broncos their 7th win of the season. Now lets hope he can sit back and let his ankles get to a point that doesn’t bother him as much.

It is going to be a tough second half of the season and the Broncos are going to need the services of Manning to get to where this team wants to go. It was just another great performance from Manning today and he continues to show his desire to play in the NFL.
