Peyton Manning can’t wait to see his brother Cooper when he arrives in New York today. Manning is going to play in his 3rd Super Bowl, and he is a heavy favorite to win his second ring joining his other brother with 2 Super Bowl rings.

There has been plenty of discussion about whether Peyton will retire after this Super Bowl, win of lose. Nothing can be further from the truth. Manning loves playing quarterback in the NFL, he enjoys every aspect of the game from the relentless preparation, to playing the game itself.

Peyton has allowed his brother Cooper to live out his football dreams, by wearing the number 18. This was Cooper’s high school number and Peyton thinks his older brother would have had a great NFL career, had he not suffered a neck injury that took his career out from under him.

Manning isn’t going to retire just yet. He will continue to allow his brother’s career to live through him. Peyton is still having fun and he knows he has a couple of more years in him.

Manning knew when he signed with the Broncos, he was a hit away from suffering a major injury. What NFL player isn’t one hit away from a career ending injury. Manning didn’t let that stop him and now he is playing in his 3rd Super Bowl.

Manning plays the game because he loves it. He also plays the game for his brother Cooper who had his career taken from him by injury. Manning will be back playing for the Denver Broncos next season.

His brothers dreams of playing in the NFL, will continue to live on when number 18 takes to the field.
