Peyton Manning failed to get his Denver Broncos a win over the Baltimore Ravens in double overtime. Manning didn’t have his best game and he threw 3 interceptions that helped the Ravens pull off the win. Manning didn’t get much help from his Broncos defense. The Broncos put 35 points on the scoreboard, normally you would think that would produce a win. The problem was the Broncos defense allowed the Ravens to put 35 points on the board to send the game into overtime. Manning and his Broncos offense didn’t do much to put this game away.

Manning took to the middle of the field staring down another NFL legend Ray Lewis for the coin toss to start the overtime. The Ravens lost the toss and the Broncos would give the ball to the Ravens to start the first overtime period. Denver could put this one away in the first overtime period. Manning just couldn’t play the way he did throughout the 2012 season, he failed to make the big play to extend the life of the Broncos.

The Broncos got a win with Tim Tebow playing quarterback in the 2011 play offs but failed to do so with the NFL’s  4 time M.V.P. at the helm.  Peyton Manning is going to feel the effects of this loss for the entire off-season. He didn’t take the Broncos to a 13-3 season to be eliminated in their first play off game. You could see the pain in Manning’s face at the post game press conference and you just know he isn’t very happy about the way he performed.
