Peyton Manning the man people thought didn’t have a leg to stand on against the Kansas City Chiefs, walked away with a win and put the Denver Broncos in a tie for the top spot in the AFC West.

Manning played well in the game and didn’t take a sack from the Chiefs defense who were known for bringing pressure to the quarterback this season.

They couldn’t get to Manning, who is known for one of the quickest releases in NFL history. Manning completed 24 of his 40 passes for 323 yards and one touchdown.

He was able to stay on his feet throughout the game and he did a fantastic job moving the Broncos offense down the field. Manning kept the Chiefs defense guessing during the game, he spread the ball around to 7 different receivers and the Chiefs defenders couldn’t figure out where Manning was going to throw the football.

Manning played mistake proof football, he turned the ball over just once on a fumble, but didn’t throw any interceptions in the game.

The Broncos now look towards the New England Patriots and Wes Welker may not be available for the game if he suffered a concussion in the game against the Chiefs.

Manning and Welker have built a solid chemistry on this Broncos team this season and he will be missed in the Denver offense if he can’t play in New England.

But something tells me Manning will have plenty of weapons available to throw to.
