Penski racing is saying probation this NASCAR. They are dominating the front row at he Geico 400 in JOLIET, Ill. Thanks to the run of Joey Logano, Penski racing completes the sweep and he won the pole Friday for the Chase-opening Geico 400 on Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway.

Logano won the pole with a track record-setting lap of 189.414 miles per hour. I guess it is not good to threaten Penske racing by placing them on probation for the rest of the NASCAR season.

Messing around with Penske racing is a lot like trying to fool mother nature, it just doesn’t happen. And when you screw with something you shouldn’t you usually end up getting burned.

Logano and the rest of the Penske team are in great shape this weekend. Logano is hoping to silence some people,  and now they will realize that the 22 team deserves to be there.

With Penske teammates filling the first row, it is going to be tough to chase down Logano. Of course starting from the pole is no guarantee of a win.

It takes a little bit off luck and some solid pit stops but we all know there isn’t too many racing teams better than Penske in the  world of racing. These guys will do what it takes come race time to make sure Logano has every advantage to win this race.
