Police have arrested New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez in connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd the 29-year-old semi pro football player that reportedly was dating Hernandez’s girlfriends sister.

It has taken more than a week since the police found the body of Lloyd dumped in a field close to to the Hernandez home. Police haven’t released the details of Hernandez’s arrest yet. He has acted very suspicious and his actions after the body was discovered left a ton of questions.

Reports came out about Hernandez destroying his home security system and getting rid of the video that system would take as well. He also handed the police his cell phone which was smashed into pieces.

Then the reports of a cleaning crew coming to his home and cleaning the place from top to bottom have surfaced. Hernandez comes from a troubled past that could include gang activity. The Murder of Lloyd was reported to be a execution style killing, it was also reported that evidence of the car Hernandez rented was at at least one of the crime scenes.

Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough was searched several times. At least three search warrants have been issued in connection with the investigation. Bags of evidence were taken out of the home but the contents of those bags have not been disclosed.

Michael Fee, the attorney Hernandez retained shortly after the police began searching his home hasn’t released a comment yet.

It will be interesting to see what charges get field against Hernandez. The New England Patriots could be without a starting tight end if murder charges are field against Hernandez.
