Patrick Reed and his HOT PUTTER have a 2 shot lead after round 2 at the Masters.

The first Major of the season is showing us that we are in store for a fantastic year!

Reed started Friday late in the afternoon and found out the greens are getting firmer and low scores were tough to come by.

Our Bulldog Ryder Cup Champ started with 3 birdies in a row.

A lone bogey on #4 was the only blemish going out today. Started the front with 3 birds in a row and ended the front side with 3 birdies in a row.

A super 31 and then came the back nine. Normally the back nine yields all the birds and some eagles.

Today Patrick started with a bogey, parred 11 & 12, birdied the next 3 holes, and ended bogey, par, & par for a solid 35. 31-35=66.

I can’t recall someone having 3 birdies in a row 3 times during their round. Amazing!

Marc Leishman, the pride of Australia this week, also birdied the first 3 holes.

He then parred the next 6 for a beautiful 33 on the front nine. Back nine 6 pars, bogey, birdie, & an eagle for a 34.

Solid 67 for the big Aussie. I didn’t pick him this week but he is a very good one to have on your fantasy golf team.

These two will be paired on Saturday in the final group.

Everybody is seriously concerned with the threats of bad weather we have in store this weekend.

Some broadcasters are saying 100% chance of rain on Saturday.

I’m really going to be glued to some of the other twosome tomorrow.

We have Henrik Stenson and Rory McIlroy paired in the next to last group.

Rory wants this Major so bad so he can become only the 6th player in history to complete the grand slam of golf.

I have several of my heart-strings pulling for Rory.

How cool will it be to have him in that elite group. Heck Arnold Palmer didn’t win all 4.

Yep check it out, he never won a PGA Championship.

Speaking of the Grand Slam of Golf the next group is Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson. Jordan needs to win the PGA Championship this year to complete the Grand Slam.

I think it would be amazing to have the 6th and 7th guy to do this in 2018!

There are so many Major Champions in the hunt that rain or shine we are going to see some kind of golf exhibition.

Grab a brew and a pimento cheese sandwich and enjoy!
