The opening ceremony at the RBC Heritage presented by Boeing was an amazing experience for all who attended.

Arnold Palmer was remembered by a ceremonial CANNON BLAST!

Arnold’s grandson Sam Saunders lit the cannon. There was a moment of silence for the “KING” and everyone was reminded that this is the 49th consecutive year this tournament has been held and at the same course Harbour Town Golf Links.

Brandon Grace, last year’s champion hit the ceremonial first shot as they BLASTED the cannon again! The first time it has been shot twice during the opening ceremony.

The Heritage Foundation was recognized for the $38,000,000 that they have given to charities and scholarships!!

Reps from RBC & Boeing were also speakers and we were officially told there will be a flyover Saturday.

Everyone got to meet our new governor of South Carolina Henry McMaster.

The weather is unbelievable and is supposed to hold all week long. 75 and sunny.

Should be an exciting tournament with a small Pro-Am today featuring “Beef” Johnston going off at 1:30

Tuesday will be practice for the pros with Wednesday featuring the BIG Pro-Am.

Many players are here but some that arrived late after the Masters won’t come out to practice until the Pro-Am has finished teeing off.

We will keep you up to date will as much info as we possibly can.

Enjoy your day…..
