The NFL as we know it today is comprised of 32 teams. The teams are broken down into two league or conferences. the American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC). The conferences themselves are further broken down into Divisions. Each Conference has four divisions, East,North,South and West and each Division contains an equal amount of teams. At the present time there are four teams in each Division.

The National Football League (NFL) has a Commissioner, currently the leagues Commissioner is Roger Goodell who assumed the office of Commissioner from Paul Tagliabue September 1, 2006. Goodell has come under fire as of late from fans who think he is turning the league into touch football with the rule changes he and the NFL owners put in place before the 2011 season.

The Most Recent Champions in the NFL are the New York Giants The Giants have been NFL Champions 8 times. The Green Bay Packers have won the most NFL Championships winning 13 of them.
