When Ryan Tannehill threw for 431 yards and then lost the game the Dolphins star running back only rushed for 67 yards on 17 carries. The Cardinals defense seemed to be able to stop Bush. If Reggie Bush would have had one of his big games that we all know he is capable of, the Dolphins could have pulled off the win. Tannehill can’t get this done all by himself. The Dolphins need to be able to control the pace of the game running the football.

Tannehill threw the ball 41 times in the game, he was sacked 4 times and this is another reason the Dolphins need Bush to step up big in all the games. If the Dolphins can do a better job rushing the football it would take some of the pressure off their rookie quarterback. When the defense doesn’t see a serious threat in the running game, they can attack the quarterback all game long. If Bush can attack the defense this would force more guys to stay home and try to stop the run.

Once the Dolphins can become more consistent with their running game, Ryan Tannehill will become a dangerous quarterback. He has shown he can get the job done and he just needs a little help with protection a a serious threat with the running game. Win you throw for 431 yards you should win the game.
