Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons move to 11-1 with the win over Drew Brees and his New Orleans Saints. Ryan did just enough to get his team their 11th win. He completed 18 of the 35 passes he threw for 165 yards and 1 touchdown. The Falcons defense were on a shopping spree picking off Brees 5 times and putting a halt to his games with a touchdown pass at 54. The Falcons defense made Drew Brees want to pull his hair out in the game. They picked him off time after time showing the Saints there is a new team that is taking over the NFC South and they weren’t going to be denied.

People have to start taking this Falcons team seriously now. With 11 wins on the season it is time for the fans to jump on to the ban wagon. The Falcons have a very tough team both offensively and defensively. The Falcons receivers did a great job making catches when they needed them.  Tony Gonzalez the big tight end had 4 catches for 58 yards and 1 touchdown and Julio Jones grabbed 4 Ryan passes for 48 yards to keep the Falcons drives alive.

Falcons safety led the way picking off Brees two times in the game. The Falcons defense was more than Brees could handle in the game. Atlanta beat the Saints 23-13 and showed they are a force to deal with. Coming into the game people were still not taking Atlanta very seriously because of all the close wins the team had this season. I guess they can start to take the team seriously now….
