The Chicago Bears are returning to the glory days of bust mouth football. That’s the statement they made when head coach Marc Trestman and the Bears signed Jared Allen to the 4 year deal.
The Bears are on their way back, and bringing in Allen will get them there a lot earlier than expected. The Bears have long been known for the defensive effort the team made.
Throughout the history of Bears football, they have always had players who could make an immediate impact on the field. Allen is one of those guys. He is a big hitter with the ability to get to the quarterback and he is a difference maker while on the field.
The Bears took a giant step forward in bringing Allen to Chicago. Trestman likes the direction the Bears are going, and who can blame him.
You don’t get a chance to bring big impact players to your team that often. The Bears reached out and grabbed Allen and they are showing the National Football League they mean business this season.
Chicago is going to be a force to deal with this season, and with Allen on the field, the Bears should be able to control the pace of the game.
The Bears are better off, now that they brought in Allen.
