Luke List birdied the 18th hole to take a one shot lead heading into round 4 of the Honda Classic at the PGA National golf course.

List was solid, firing a -4 under par 66, good enough to move him into sole possession of first place.

Justin Thomas and Webb Simpson are tied at -6 under par and in 2nd place.

Thomas fired one of the 2—-65’s today. The wind died down and the normally hard back nine turned fairly benign.

Well, at least for Justin Thomas…….-4 under par 31 on the back nine was unbelievable. He hit to 14′ 4″ on #17 and drained the putt for a 2.

Justin and List will be paired in the final round on Sunday and it’s a flip of the coin to see who prevails.

Webb Simpson fired a beautiful -4 under par 66 and was 1 under on the back nine.

I spent 1/2 of the day covering 17 & 18 and it was early.

The winds were blowing pretty hard and I saw lots of golf balls hit into the lake on #17.

What a difference 3 hours made. The back nine actually, usually, became an easier nine than the front.

Tommy Fleetwood and Jamie Lovemark are tied for 4th place at -5 under par.

It is a really tight leaderboard and even Tiger Woods who is 7 shots off the lead still has a chance.

I saw many sparks of the old Tiger today and firmly believe, now more than ever, that Tiger will win again and probably sooner than later.

I can’t really say that he will win a Major this year but it is a real possibility.

He looks GREAT! Swing looks solid and he seems to be having fun more and more everyday.

Paired today with Jason Dufner really helped him too. Having an old buddy playing with you really makes a world of difference.

Sunday is going to be a great finishing round. I really feel that the 15 guys who are within 7 shots of the lead have a legitimate chance to win this tournament.

If I was to make a small wager, my money would have to be on Justin Thomas. He just looks like he is ripe to add another notch to his belt!

Have fun and enjoy the final round.
