It’s Kobe’s team and never think otherwise. I am amazed that the late owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jerry Buss didn’t leave Bryant the team in his last will and testament. Kobe Bryant has come out and gave the so-called general manager of the Lakers Mitch Kupchak, his  blessing to trade Dwight Howard. Isn’t that nice of Mr. Bryant the real G.M. of the Lakers. I wonder if Howard is packing his bags and getting ready to leave the team. Just a little less than a week ago it was Kupchak who said the Lakers wouldn’t deal Howard before Thursday’s trade deadline. He must have been waiting for permission from his boss, Bryant.

Every time throughout his history with the Lakers Kobe seems to have a problem with another player taking the spotlight off of him. Bryant is one hell of a great basketball player but he does have a problem being a good teammate to others. He pulled the same kind of crap with the Lakers when Shaq was front and center. It is a good thing that LeBron James never ended up in a Lakers uniform. Bryant might have had to hire a hit man to deal with that situation. It is going to be interesting to see if Kupchak takes Bryant’s blessing a deals Howard in the next day and a half.
