The L.A. Lakers continue to lose in the NBA. The Lakers are now 3-5 after falling to the San Antonio Spurs (7-1) 84-82 last night. Bryant led the Lakers in scoring with 28 and Dwight Howard followed with a distant 13 points in the game. The Lakers are not firing on all cylinders this season, at least not yet. The team isn’t playing the kind of basketball that is going to take them too far into post season play. The Lakers have to find a way to play better.

The Lakers played a tough team in the Spurs, to lose by only 2 points is a tough loss for L.A. especially with all the drama of firing their head coach Mike Brown. The team from  L.A. has to get their act together and they better do it soon. Otherwise it’s going to be a long season for Lakers fans…. By the way, in order to help the Lakers win the new coach has to get there first. It looks like Mike D’Antoni could debut Sunday….
