The Lakers are on the move. With Kobe Bryant’s 33 points the Lakers powered past the Timberwolves 116-94. The Lakers are now one game shy of the .500 mark. Bryant said he and his team were going to make the play-offs this season and he loos to be living up to his word. Kobe got some help from his bench in the game, Antawn Jamison scored 17 points and Jodie Meeks claimed the next highest bench total with 16 points. The Lakers also got 13 points from Steve Blake coming off the bench last night.

Dwight Howard did his job under the basket, he had 13 rebounds and scored 11 points on the night, Nash followed with 10 points. The Lakers are 6-4 in their last 10 games, not the best but better than what they were doing before the All-Star break. If L.A. could put a winning streak together, they may be able to make a move. The Los Angeles Lakers are 4 games behind the second place team in the Pacific conference now.

If Kobe and his Lakers can just win some games in a row, they could start to put the pressure on the teams in front of him. The Lakers are 13 games behind the Clippers.
