The weather today at Royal Birkdale was about as nice as it could possibly be at an Open Championship.

It was sort of the “perfect storm” because is rained between 4pm yesterday til 4am this morning and only about an inch of rain fell.

The course was very gettable and people were throwing darts at the pin, chipping in, and sinking some awesome putts.

Jordan had another bogey free round today,65, and Matt Kuchar was playing as good as he could and could do no better than lose a stroke to Jordan today.

They will be paired together on Sunday and it will be one heck of a final.

Not sure if it can rival Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson’s final round last year but I am sure it will be close to that. 2 amazing guys prepared to show what they can do!

Saturday is called moving day and believe me it stood by its name today.

Branden Grace fired the first 62 EVER in any Major.

There have been over 400 Majors and the first British Open was in 1860. Way to go Branden! Moving day…….he went from 45th place to a tie for 5th place.

There has been some crummy comments about the Open but seriously I find it a whole lot more fun seeing a record broken and even the leader shot 65 today.

As a very wise man once told me, his birthday is Sunday, everybody has to play the same course.

No matter what the weather, condition of the fairways, condition of the greens, etc. you all play the same course.

I am looking for a martini because this match took it all out of me today. Can’t wait till tomorrow!
