Jim Furyk wants to grab the Fedex Cup and the 10 million dollar check, there is no doubt Bubba Watson wouldn’t mind taking it home either. Tiger Woods sees his chances slipping away in his second round and Rory McIlroy got up close and personal with the fans at the Tour Championship. So many moves today and so little time to write about it. Lets start out with Rory McIlroy shall we? McIlroy could hardly keep his ball on the course in his second round, in fact on one hole it was the out-of-bounds fense that kicked his ball back into play. Otherwise Rory would have added another stroke to his score card and we all know golfers don’t like those extra strokes.

McIlroy shot a neat little 2 under par round of 68 today to find himself 4 stokes behind the second round leader Jim Furyk. It was a round McIlroy had to work for too. He was hitting the ball anywhere but on the fairways today.

Tiger Woods had his share of problems too. Woods finished his second round shooting 3 over par 73 to find himself only 1 under par after 2 rounds and tied for 12th place. It is too bad Woods didn’t get to play with McIlroy again today, Rory seems to bring out the best in Tigers game. Tiger made 5 bogeys and one double bogey to go with the 4 birdies he made today.

Jim Furyk finds himself on top of the leader board once again in a huge tournament. Nothing would make Furyk happier than winning the Fedex Cup and maybe finding himself part of a Ryder Cup team. Furyk shot a great round of 64 today in a round he made 3 bogeys in, it shows you just how well Jim played. Furyk made 9 birdies today, 6 of those birdies came on his bogey free front nine.

Now we come to Bubba Watson, a man who has been relatively quiet lately, he made some noise today with his 4 under par round of 66 to find himself just 2 strokes back in the Tour Championship. Watson only has one man in between him and the leader, that guy is Justin Rose who sits at 6 under after 2 rounds.

Stick around folks, we are going to be in for a real shoot out this weekend…..
