The fans who wanted to see Tiger Woods win his 8th at Firestone in the Bridgestone Invitational aren’t going to see that happen this year. For the fans who thought Tiger Woods is back, that didn’t happen this year either. The Tiger Woods who once was able to battle his way to the top of the leader-board simply doesn’t exists anymore. The days of Tiger domination are over. If there was a tournament that meant more to Tiger Woods this year, it took place this weekend in Akron Ohio. Tiger loves Firestone and he loves showing off in the W.G.C.’s.

Tiger didn’t make any of the Tiger type moves we have seen in the past.He shot rounds of 70,72 and 68 to be at even par, 12 strokes behind the leader Jim Furyk who still has 8 holes left to play. The fans are going to have to wait until next year to see if Tiger can win one more to make it 8 at Firestone. Unless Tiger can go out and shoot a 12 under par 58 tomorrow he won’t even be close to the leader. Furyk may add one or two more under to his card before his day is over.

Woods just couldn’t get it going today, yesterday or in his first round this week. Face it folks, we will never see the Tiger Woods that dominated the game of golf like he did for years again. He doesn’t exist anymore…..

Tell us what you think of Tiger’s play at Firestone, just leave your comments below…..
