The Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck got his first NFL victory today beating the Minnesota Vikings 23-20. The Colts almost gave this one back to the Vikings. Luck threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns completing 20 of the 31 passes he threw for 2 touchdowns. On a much more positive note Luck didn’t throw any interceptions today. The Colts defense gave up 14 4th quarter points to the Vikings, Andrew Luck had to be having heart palpitations as he watch the Vikings out score the Colts by 11 points in the final quarter of the game.

The Colts were able to hang on to get their rookie number one draft pick his first NFL win and now that Luck has that under his belt he has to be hoping the next one comes easier. In the NFL that isn’t going to be the case. Luck is going to have to work at every win with this Colts team. The Colts defense still needs some improvement.
