You don’t have to imagine, it is taking place tomorrow. Drew Brees and his 0-3 New Orleans Saints take on Aaron Rodgers and his 1-2 Green bay Packers. Both teams in need of a win for totally different reason. The New Orleans Saints haven’t won a game all season and they have to avoid dropping their fourth game in a row. It just goes to show us that Sean Peyton means more to the Saints than just a guy standing on the side-lines holding the bounty money. The Saints truly look lost this season without their head coach. Drew Brees got one heck of a nice contract extension and for him to go win-less makes it look like  he took the money and now he doesn’t want to run.

The Saints are already 3 games behind the Falcons in the NFC South. The Green Bay Packers on the other hand have won a game so it isn’t nearly as bad for them as it is for the Saints. The Packers are 1-2 and just a game behind the Bears and the Vikings. Needless to say Aaron Rodgers and his Packers team isn’t liking were the team is at.

This game is going to be a battle by two teams that equally need this win. I look for the Packers defense to try and limit Dree Bree’s ability to move out of the packet and then the Packers line backers to have a field day on him. The Green Bay Packers have to get a good day out of Rodgers too. Aaron Rodgers is going to have to complete passes early so that Brees and his Saints will be forced to throw the ball. If they can do that it will make it easier for the Packers defense to pressure Brees.

The More points Rodgers and his Packers offense can get on the board the tougher it is going to be for Drew Brees. This game could be a real shoot-out….
