Could Ian Poulter win 2 of the last 3 weeks? We will find out EARLY tomorrow.

Poulter leads after the third round at the RBC Heritage presented by Boeing.

Bad weather is heading towards the low country so the golf tournament’s final round will be started early. The tee times will be between 7:00 am and will run til 9:00 am.

They will be grouped in threesome and will be going off #1 & #10. Should end by 2:00 when the weather is set to arrive.

Poulter was so excited because today’s round was “clean” meaning no bogeys.

Friday’s round was the same and the only bogeys he has had this week were during Thursday’s round and just 2 on the front nine.

The conditions today were absolutely perfect for golf and for making some good scoring opportunities.

If I was a betting man I would bet a lot of money that Ian Poulter will be dining tonight at Darren Clarke’s new restaurant on Hilton Head.

He was there last night and I have been around enough pros and caddies who keep going to the same restaurant as long as their scoring is staying low.

One year my wife and I ate at Callahan’s restaurant 3 nights in a row because our friend who happened to be a caddy felt we needed to because his guy kept going low each day.

Well the bottom line was he blew up on Sunday and it was all for naught. Good food though!!!!!

Poulter will be playing with Luke List and Si Woo Kim in the last group.

You will remember Kim because he won the Wyndham at Greensboro and he won the Players Championship at the TPC Sawgrass stadium course.

As defending Players Champion he brings a really strong pedigree to this tournament.

Bryson DeChambeau, the “Mad Scientist”, was our leader after 36 holes but the science lab blew up today.

Starting with a nice birdie 3 on the first made us think he is going strong today.

Bryson tugged his 2nd shot on #2 out of bounds and got a triple bogey 8. Double bogey on 13 and another double bogey on 17 has all but taken him out of the tournament.

I hope he can pick it back up and get settled down to fire a nice round on Sunday.

Going to be an exciting finish stay tuned!
